Chas Belov’s full-length play Hemlock (mature content) was a finalist in Kitchen Dog Theater’s 2018 New Works Festival and The Making of Medea’s Medea a semi-finalist in Playwrights Foundation’s 2018 Bay Area Playwrights Festival. Both plays and Rice Kugel (mature content), My Visit to America, and Evil Fan have had staged readings at Playwrights’ Center of San Francisco (PCSF). His short plays and a monologue have been produced in SF, Boston, Texas, Ohio, North Carolina, Michigan, and New York City. Short This is Not a Play and monologue “My Room” have been anthologized. Chas is a member of PCSF, the Dramatists Guild and Theatre Bay Area (ATLAS playwright).
